We are excited to welcome a group of new organizations to the Donate Good Stuff family - The Puzzler's Exchange, Schoolhouse Supplies, Community Kitchen, Planting People Growing Justice, People Serving People, and Community Thread. Here is the who, where, and what they need:

Puzzler's Exchange

What they Do: They provide a perpetual supply of large-piece jigsaw puzzles to facilitate social connection that is cooperative, calming & enjoyable for those living with complex health challenges & their caregivers
What they Need: Puzzles!
​Donate large-piece jigsaw puzzles, memory puzzles that have a smaller number of total pieces.

Schoolhouse Supplies

What they Do: To support public education in the Portland area by providing free school supplies to students in need. Their work benefits hundreds of thousands of children in the Portland area with free school supplies.
What they Need: School Supplies!
Basic School Supplies, Office Supplies, Incentives (journals, small toys, prizes), Arts and Crafts, Stationary, Filing, Books. Bring them in a bag or box that is easy to carry and organized.

Community Kitchen MPLS

What they Do: They make, pack, and deliver hundreds of meals each week to unhoused neighbors. They provide Minneapolis encampment food support, powered by volunteers & food rescue. They believe everybody deserves tasty and nutritious food.
What they Need: Food!
Donate n
onperishable food items that are unopened, unexpired and shelf-stable food like canned food, dry goods, spices, etc. Outside of the listings on DonateGoodStuff.org, they occasionally have urgent needs they post on their facebook page. They also need volunteers to serve.

Planting People Growing Justice
​Leadership Institute

What they Do: They plant seeds of social change through education, training, and community outreach. They focus on building pipelines of success for K-12 students by promoting academic excellence and through the unveiling of each student’s limitless potential through books, educational offerings, and youth leadership summits. They teaching children about STEAM education (combining science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) to support leadership development.
What they Need: Books & Computers!
Donate diverse children's books and laptop computers that are less than 3 years old.

People Serving People

What they Do: People Serving People is the largest and most comprehensive emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness in Minnesota and a dedicated leader in homelessness prevention. They exist to see families thrive.
What they Need: 
Air mattresses! And lots of other stuff, too.

Community Thread

​What they Do: They engage, enrich & connect the community to improve the quality of life for adults and their families. They provide resources, services, and sponsor activities aimed at older adults, particularly those who desire to age in place, as well as advocating for and supporting volunteers throughout the St. Croix Valley region. Items provide no cost to low cost activities & events for older adults.  Jewelry and handbags can be donated for their upcoming "Baubles, Bangles & Bling" fundraiser.
What they Need: Lots of stuff!
